On the other hand, Israel is implementing policies aimed at suffocating what remains of the EJ economy. This isolation and the resulting economic decline have produced a steady socio-economic and psychological deterioration of EJ Palestinian communities, affecting all aspects of life, contributing to an escalation in the incidence of gender-based violence committed against vulnerable groups in EJ Palestinian communities.
