UNFPA Palestine is providing vital cash assistance to women and girls in Gaza and the West Bank, helping them meet urgent needs, reduce gender-based violence (GBV) risks, and access essential services. In partnership with the World Food Programme, the CVA programme has supported over 12,000 women, disbursing more than 3 million USD in 2024, despite ongoing challenges, including safety concerns due to violence, movement and access restrictions, market shortages, and a liquidity crisis.

91% of beneficiaries report that the cash has helped them secure food, medicine, and other essentials.
