UNFPA Palestine, in collaboration with IPPF, has developed the first Technical Guidance on Comprehensive Life Education (CLE) for adolescents and youth (ages 12–18+) in out-of-school settings. Rooted in the Palestinian cultural and legal context, this guidance provides a framework to equip young people with accurate, age-appropriate information on sexual and reproductive health, gender equality, violence prevention, and essential life skills.
CLE aims to:

  • Empower youth to make informed decisions
  • Promote health, dignity, and respectful relationships
  • Prevent early marriage, gender-based violence, and unintended pregnancy

The guidance offers practical tools for NGOs, educators, and community actors to implement CLE programmes across Palestine.
