Since January 2025, over 40,000 Palestinians have been displaced from Jenin, Tulkarem, Nur Shams, and Al-Fara’ due to intensified military operations. Thousands of women and girls have lost access to essential sexual and reproductive health services.

More than 14,800 pregnant women face limited care. Over 1,600 births are expected in unsafe conditions. Midwives continue to serve in dangerous, under-resourced environments.

UNFPA and the Ministry of Health call for urgent action to:

  • Restore access to emergency obstetric care

  • Protect health infrastructure and workers

  • Fund mobile clinics and midwife-led outreach

  • Support displaced women and girls
