In an effort to underline UNFPA’s WPD message “universal access to reproductive health services”, and to emphasize the role of the midwives in the Palestinian society and midwifery education, especially that the World Population Day 2012 coincides with the results of Tawjihi exams, UNFPA oPt made this occasion visible through hanging a huge billboard that was place at the main entrance of Nablus City, at Huwwara Checkpoint to be exact. A special message in the Arabic language was written translation: If a mother gives life, a midwife gives safe motherhood.
