Two meetings were held in the weeks leading up to the presentation of the CPD. At the first meeting 15 June 2010, co-chaired by H.E. Dr. Ali Jarbawi, Minister of Planning and Administrative Development (MoPAD), UNFPA briefed its main donors and UN partners on the draft CPD. The second meeting, which was held on 17 June 2010 and was hosted by MoPAD, started the discussion of the Country Programme Action Plan (CPAP), which will translate the CPD into a monitorable three-year action framework coordinated by key partner ministries. The consultation process will continue during the coming months with all national partners, with the aim of finalizing the CPAP by November 2010.
