"On the first anniversary of the murder of Juliano Mer Khamis, co-founder and leader of the Freedom Theater in Jenin, the United Nations Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator in the occupied Palestinian territory takes this opportunity to remember a visionary and courageous peacemaker and a champion of culture and freedom of expression, calling upon all concerned authorities to intensify the efforts to bring his murderers to justice."
