Multimedia outlets reported on 6 December 2011 on the workshop that was organized by Rehabilitation Center for the Girls/Ministry of Social Affairs, where participants from American University of Jenin and al-Quds Open University recommended the need to reinforce and follow up on laws against GBV cases.  They also stressed on the role of media in eliminating violence in the Palestinian society as well as its psychological effect.
