UNFPA has introduced the new automated Sourcing, Negotiation and Award System through Quantum to modernise and streamline procurement processes across the organisation.
The system went live on 1st of April 2026. It provides a fully end-to-end, integrated approach to managing sourcing, negotiations, and award processes, improving efficiency, transparency, supplier trust and consistency.
Transition Guidelines
- Existing Procurement Cases: Cases published prior to April 1 will continue to be processed using traditional methods.
- New Procurement Cases: Any new cases initiated on or after April 1 must adhere to the newly standardised digital workflow.
To continue participating in UNFPA tenders, please make sure you have an active Quantum account, as all tenders will now be published and submissions must be made through Quantum. Proposals sent via secure email will no longer be accepted.
